How to get started
Identify your needs
SyMRI is the right choice if you are looking to improve workflow or to extend diagnostic procedures. SyMRI is presently used in brain and cardiac procedures and will be extended to breast, knee and prostate. SyMRI can be configured to be more workflow oriented or as a more research oriented tool.
Product selection
SyMRI is offered in 3 different versions:
SyMRI Diagnostics
This version is optimized for full control of parameter settings, which allow the user to carry out extensive investigations. Typically, this is used in more advanced diagnostic procedures and in research projects.
SyMRI Productivity
This version is optimized to achieve maximum efficiency in workflow and gain productivity in your MR procedures. Parameters are pre-set either to achieve minimum scan time or to get various types of diagnostic values.
SyMRI Autopsy
This version is adapted for MR based autopsy procedures, which removes some of today’s limitation such as corpse temperature.
Product configuration
SyMRI can be configured as a plug-in in your PACS system, which allows you to work seamless for maximum efficiency. SyMRI can also be configured as a stand-alone solution installed on a standard PC offering the same fully-fledged usage. SyMRI is fully DICOM compatible.
Installation
A site checklist is provided to plan the installation. A technician on site with a minimum impact on production makes the installation. After installation, a check is made to secure that images are read and handled correctly before the system is handed over to the customer.
Training
Training will be provided on-site based on the customer’s specific needs and usage of SyMRI. It is recommended that the customer appoint a responsible person for the SyMRI software.
Support
Support is provided based on the customer requirements, which includes telephone support, on-site support and software support.
