Practical workflow using the SyMRI approach

Your MRI scanner will receive a software update to produce the required scan. This is a protocol just like any other. It will produce the raw images required for MR quantification. The images are sent to PACS or a workstation. The SyMRI quantification module translates the raw images into Qmaps (the T1 and T2 relaxation and proton density maps). The Qmaps are input for the SyMRI post-processing software for synthetic MRI and synthetic tissue mapping. All synthetic images can be stored locally or sent back to PACS.
